Innovative and interesting app

Great app! Loads of information (which seems to be reliable). Infos about products, their ingredients and their effects both on health, environment and social sphere. I recommend!

Goodguide

The name says it all. Very informative. We all should be more conscious of what we put on and into our bodies. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

Great app on the 4S

Definitely a great and fast way to learn more about the products we CHOOSE to buy. Knowledge is key to making the best decisions for our planet, our people and ourselves.

None

Its useless to Canadians.

Canadians left out

Why release it in the Canadian store if it doesnt recognize Canadian products? If its still in the process of generating a Canadian library of barcodes it should state so.

Not that Good of a Guide

Does not recognize lots of canadian brands and does not have lots of info about products just ingredients. not bad for famous American products not very good for makeup

Useless in Canada

As of now this app is useless in Canada. Please make this app useful for Canadian products!

Tells me nothing useful

It rates products one to ten except gives you no basis for its rating. If your going to tell me that something is only a five compared to a 10 tell me why

Worked only once

Please fix! Lots of bugs I downloaded today! First, i scanned a product and when i tried to scan another product the scanner stopped working and screen went black and froze and then i got a pop up asking if i would like to rate the app. But its frozen!!! So I re-installed and same problem!!! I give 1/2 star as a rating because it basically doesnt work. Deleting!!!!.Too bad i was excited about this. :(

Must have

Incredible app! Has changed my consumption a lot. Empowered me to shop with my values

Didnt work as well as I thought it would

I tried scanning barcodes around my house but it either didnt recognize them or it displayed a different product from the one I scanned (I scanned a Cosmopolitan magazine and got results for Lean Cuisine frozen entrees). Only one product popped up for me, and after scanning dozens, I wasnt very impressed.

Practically useless

I scanned all my personal products, and returned no reviews. I tried to look them up by brand, nothing. Needs a far wider database.

Dara Orourke, the founder, was on a Canadian radio show today talk

Nice idea, but growth development issues should be transparent in the app blurb: Ex: Dara Orourke, the founder, was on a Canadian radio show today talking to Canadian future thinker Don Tapscott but no discussion of "not yet ready for Canadians". Also as a 2.0 social media Im missing the interactive part; there should be a way for users to add if not content at least comments or requests, such as a way to enter barcodes not yet in the database (beyond just a vote up or down). Just a one way book of data otherwise.

CBC Radio Intro.

First heard about this app on CBC and it sounded like a great tool for safer shopping choices. So far... Not loving it. Nothing I have scanned has available information. Maybe time will improve this app.
