Nice idea, but growth development issues should be transparent in the app blurb:
Ex: Dara Orourke, the founder, was on a Canadian radio show today talking to Canadian future thinker Don Tapscott but no discussion of "not yet ready for Canadians".
Also as a 2.0 social media Im missing the interactive part; there should be a way for users to add if not content at least comments or requests, such as a way to enter barcodes not yet in the database (beyond just a vote up or down). Just a one way book of data otherwise.
