Not a credible source of information
This app has the right idea toward sustainable products, however, it is absolutely useless for information behind the choices. The ratings that they give products have absolutely no information about why they got that rating other than its among the top 5, 10, 25 or whatever percent of the good guide ratings. I want to know why aveeno has a 8/10 environment scale, do they use less water? Emit less carbon? And whos making these claims? Did aveeno pay you to say that or do you have scientists and environmentalist in the field doing studies? None of this info is available. They also have a very limited selection. Half of the products I use are very sustainable but dont seem to make the cut for the GG app. Dont waste your time on this, just do the research yourself, youll get better and more credible insight.
